Mastering how to skin and tan possums!

Nov 2006. I really don't enjoy skinning possums! However, the thrill of shooting and trapping them needed a bit of an injection of fun, so I've decided to master the art of skinning and tanning. My goal is to make some 'coon' hats, like the one Daniel Boon used to wear!  Well, that's my plan anyway. So, if you've one of my friends who comes out shooting and trapping - I've got next year's Christmas present all planned out!!!

I think I've got skinning and tanning mastered now! Actually I sell them on Trade-Me most weeks.
