Night Camping in the bush

We camped out in the bush one night. I think it was summer 2005. This photo was taken when it was actually getting dark. The gas lantern is glowing in the middle of the photo.

Great time. Went for a midnight walk, watched a spider spin an enormous web, saw some trout in a stream and did heaps of shooting.

Sam made us an impressive toilet out of fern leaves and branches too.

Chris made a trap to try and catch an opossum. Around 3am it went off, and we all scrambled out of the tent, only to find a hedge-hog waddling away down the track with our bait!
