Snake Hunting in PNG

While returning home to my birth country of PNG, I was fortunate enough to also go to the tribe where I was a young child, and slept in the bamboo hut of our house bay Namugi, now a grown man with a family of his own. The next day I went bat and snake hunting with two of his sons, and half the village children who tagged along!

Unfortunately this is the only one we spotted all day!

(Did I mention that we found it dead on the side of the track?)
